Tom Oliver Jacobson
Tom Oliver is a Swedish performer and curator based in Amsterdam. As a
theatre maker and and curator, Tom Oliver creates immersive, durational
works to represent temporary glimpses of worlds outside of the dichotomy
of utopia and dystopia. Their work centers on world-building within
performance art, creating new narratives about the world through writing
and collaboration with other artists. Artistic director and co-founder of
the performance collective Tlön (2015-2019), a performance collective
and production house specializing in immersive, durational works, from
intimate dinners to large-scale nightclubs. and the recurring performance
conference Human Life Center (2017-2019). Tom Oliver has been a long-term
performer in the award-winning group Sister Hope (2015-present), which
produces large scale durational performance installations in theatres,
museums, schools and public spaces. They have been trained in the Sisters
Hope Method, and been teaching the method in public institutions in
Denmark. A graduate of DAS Theatre (2019-2021), they work independently
as a producer and curator for dance and theatre.Recent works
